Traffic alert! Pattern change heads to Broadway near Electric Works

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (ADAMS) – The City of Fort Wayne says there will be new lane restrictions on Broadway at the Electric Works campus this week.

On Wednesday, May 8, there will be restrictions on Broadway near Lavina Street at the Electric Works Campus. The City says traffic will be restricted but maintained with a single lane in each direction along Broadway.

Fort Wayne Traffic and Engineering Department says Weigand Construction crews will be responsible for the work and maintaining work zone barricades. The closure is anticipated to last through the year’s end.

These restrictions are needed for the establishment of a new traffic pattern for the north phase of the Electric Works Campus improvements north of the railroad overpass.
